Audio booths: Room acoustics

Silence in which the sound unfolds, and an enjoyable environment for creative life and work. This is the daily experience provided by an audio booth.

The angled walls and ceilings of the room geometry distribute the sound and reduce sound coloration. This is particularly important in small rooms, where to a certain extent the human ear perceives reflected sounds as if they were added to the original sound.

A choice can be made between two acoustic models:

Standard:

The reverberation characteristics of the standard acoustic model are suitable for practising and teaching, as well as for occasional recording. Acoustic absorbers on the walls and ceiling create a spacious, well-balanced auditory impression, pleasantly enhancing the body of the sound.

Studio:

The reverberation characteristics of the studio model are suitable for speech, vocal and instrumental recording with the most demanding quality requirements. For microphone recordings and for listeners in the room, broadband absorbers, diffusers and a sound-absorbing floor result in an especially neutral sound impression, which can be optionally very dry (lower curve) or slightly spacious (upper curve).

If additional glass elements are desired, we will work with you to design the lighting, spatial and acoustic concepts.
