Audio booths: Technology

Acoustic interior architecture

Audio booths create an enjoyable acoustic environment in your room, increasing the utility value of the entire room. The typical floor plans are space-saving, allowing a booth to be installed in a corner of the room. As an object in the room, the booth appears like a crystal which it is possible to enter. Bright surfaces and extensive glass areas reinforce this effect.

Interior environment

The walls are breathable and are made of wood materials that are recommended for organic architecture. This provides the necessary prerequisites for a pleasant interior environment.

However, for extended use, an active exchange of air (with incoming and outgoing air) is to be recommended (see Features: Special features). As an option, ventilators or ventilation columns with different ventilation performances can be installed or attached. External air conditioners or ventilation systems can also be connected. The adjustable ventilation units are extremely quiet, and can remain in operation while audio recordings are being made.

Electrical installation

A connection to the power supply and a cable duct are standard features, which always remain accessible. Cables are laid out of sight, e.g. beneath the booth or in intermediate spaces between elements.
As a special feature, swivel-mounted built-in luminaires provide general overall illumination. We will be glad to give you tips regarding the specific illumination of work areas.

Construction and assembly

The construction of a small booth can be completed in approximately 1.5 days. Audio booths can be repeatedly modified, and can be renovated from the inside and outside without being dismantled.
